The private guest wing of the main residence houses two bed and breakfast suites, both with ensuite bathrooms, in-room tv, dvd, video and double glass sliding doors to a large verandah with table, chairs and a hammock outside each room. There is also a guest lounge, which opens to a charming central atrium with tropical plants, fishpond and resident green tree frogs during the warmer months, and massage room. Tweed Coast luxury cabin & cottage accommodation devotees will be more interested in Hillcrest Cottage. Set away from the main house in its own secluded garden a few metres from the pool, our self-catering cottage enjoys some of the most spectacular views of any romantic accommodation in the Tweed Coast or hinterland. In the other direction you can see straight to Mt Warning from the bedroom and large ensuite bathroom - complete with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate large shower.

Hillcrest Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, wide screen stereo tv, dvd player, stereo system, wood fire for winter romance, and split system reverse cycle air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans for summer comfort.

Hillcrest Bed & Breakfast is located in a private guest wing of the main house and is AAA Tourism 4½ Star Rated.

Guests enjoy private entry, guest lounge set up as a quiet reading area with stereo system, stocked fridge and beverage-making facilities. The guest lounge opens, via 2 sets of double glass sliding doors to a charming central atrium with fishpond, tropical plants and resident Green Tree Frogs during summer,

Hillcrest offers a choice of two luxury bed and breakfast suites ~ the Blue Room and the Spa Suite. Both the Bed & Breakfast suites and guest lounge have individually controlled split system reverse cycle air-conditioning. If you don't like air-conditioning then your room also has a ceiling fan so you can control the environment in your own space to your liking.

Rooms come fully equipped with televisions, dvd players, video recorders, robes, pool towels and a selection of pillows. Both rooms have double glass sliding doors to a large verandah, with table, chairs and your own personal hammock outside each room. Both ensuite bathrooms come with bath towels, candles, hairdryers and a selection of toiletries to use during your stay.

Hillcrest luxury Tweed Valley accommodation is centrally located to 5 World Heritage listed National Parks, including Mt Warning, the spot where the dawn sun first touches east Australia, golf, horse-riding, scenic joy-flights, arts and crafts markets, galleries and more. We have a range of tourist information on-site and will gladly help you plan the best things to see and do during your stay in the stunning Tweed Coast & Valley hinterland ~ or you may choose to just kick back and enjoy a massage or silk pamper session in the comfort of our private Massage Room or your own secluded Cottage.

Hillcrest is only 90 minutes drive from Brisbane, 35 minutes from Gold Coast airport and 40 minutes from Byron Bay ~ although if you're a beach person, then the Tweed Coast beaches are far quieter than those of Byron or the Gold Coast. Our central location, total peace, privacy and the fact that even when we're full we only cater for 3 couples in total make us an ideal honeymoon or romantic getaway destination.
